macbook pro 17 inch, mini dv + plenty of storage, experienced in editing on locations world wide using avid or final cut,  experienced handling RAW Files, eos files and is not afraid zo confront other formats, as long as you know what you do b4 you start shooting, i  like to suggest clipmaster for handling redfiles to go on avid  *(i used to prefere Avid and complained about fcp, but now, I think Final Cut is a pretty cool tool & it would be an amazing editing tool, if those two merge one day, wohooo! )
